Using LED bulbs for elevator lighting is a smart choice, for their energy efficiency and long life. These LED elevator lamps are designed to replace 20-watt incandescent or halogen bulbs with 2- or 3-watt LEDs. In addition to saving you money on electricity and rarely, if ever, requiring replacement, these LED elevator lights do not project heat, keeping the elevator’s interior cool. They also significantly reduce vibration and burn outs that are associated with traditional incandescent or halogen elevator lamps. The LEDs are guaranteed for two years. In the world’s most upscale elevators, elevator lighting beautifully illuminates the small space and provides added security and comfort for passengers with high-quality downlighting.

Our elevator lamps are available with either a single contact bayonet base or double contact bayonet base. They’re part of our commercial duty line of lights, designed for more rigorous commercial use than the standard bulbs made for homeowners.

LED Elevator Light Features

These elevator lamps feature 3500K color temperature for a warm white light. Depending on the mode, they emit 60 to 105 measurable lumens. They require 12 volts, low voltage, to operate, and are not dimmable. Both the single and double contact bayonet base styles include an indicator lamp.

The Benefits of LED Technology

Matched against incandescent bulbs, fluorescent lamps and other lighting technology, LEDs come out way ahead. They use just 10 watts of energy for the equivalent light of a 60-watt incandescent or 14-watt CFL bulb, greatly reducing utility costs. They also require little to no maintenance, and rarely need replacing. An LED bulb lasts up to 50,000 hours, compared to 8,000 hours for CFL and just 1,200 hours for incandescent. LED light bulbs light up immediately and stay cool to the touch. They’re not sensitive to cold temperatures, and unlike CFL lamps, do not contain mercury.
