The Highbay Pentagon 6-lamp T8 fluorescent light fixture, model F32T8, replaces a 250-watt metal halide light fixture. It has great features, such as instant-on lighting and wide-angle beam for excellent aisle and area coverage. You can choose from a clear polycarbonate lens or no lens. The lens can be used in gymnasiums or where the lamps can’t be exposed, such as above food, in produce processing plants or in swimming areas. Highbay lighting is used in locations with high ceilings, typically more than 40 feet high. This can include warehouses, factories and other industrial settings, in addition to gyms and swimming pools.

What Are Xtreme Duty Lights?

At MEBULBS™, we offer three separate product lines. Our residential lighting is the most inexpensive, for homeowners who are on a budget and are looking for general purpose lighting at a low cost. Our commercial lighting products are for retail businesses, small offices and others who wish to have a better-quality bulb but don’t want to pay premium prices. For our most discriminating customers and companies that need a high-performance light, we have our Xtreme Duty light bulbs and fixtures. These are designed for the most challenging lighting projects and they provide the highest quality lighting available.

The Benefits of T8 Fluorescent Lights

Using a fluorescent light instead of a traditional incandescent light can save you between 25 and 35 percent of energy use. Incandescent bulbs also emit a lot of heat, whereas fluorescent lamps emit 75 percent less. This also adds to cost savings, when air conditioning costs are taken into consideration. Fluorescent lights have a lifespan of approximately 10,000 hours, whereas incandescent bulbs only last for about 1,500 hours. T8 fluorescent tubes are more efficient than T12 tubes.

Why Buy from MEBULBS?

Founded in 1974, MEBULBS is a leading expert in quality lighting. We offer three product lines to appeal to customers with different types of applications and different budget considerations. Our residential line is our economy line, designed for general use and equivalent to what you’d find in a big box store (only better). The commercial lighting is made for businesses and residential customers that want a better-quality light that’s suited for heavier use. Our high-end product line is our Xtreme Duty lights, which are industrial grade lights made for the most challenging environments. Our highly experienced customer support team can assist you with choosing the right lighting products for your requirements and your budget.
